Heretical Reason Productions
We are a private company investing in independent feature films, software applications, innovative hardware, and other business ventures. We do not have any products or services of our own, but rather, invest in companies offering these products and services. HRP was founded in late 2014 and made its first investment in 2015.
HRP was created as a vehicle to help create entertaining content with the hopes of eventually being able to donate all profits to charity. We will help fascinating and compelling stories become a reality on the silver screen. We will help entertaining and helpful software applications get a chance. We will keep our eyes open for other investments in areas we are interested in, where we think the investment will benefit humanity, or where we think we can make a strong profit to reinvest in the business.
We do not accept unsolicited offers to invest in businesses, nor do we accept unsolicited screenplays. We prefer to find opportunities on our own.
All returns will be reinvested in the business, held in reserve for investment in future projects, or put into paying back the interest-free investment we received from our founder to grow the business. Once the founder has broken even, all profits that are not reinvested in the business itself will be given to the Stiefel Freethought Foundation. This business exists for fun, fulfillment, and charity.
The Pledge
The owner pledges to give 100% of the profits from Heretical Reason Productions to the Stiefel Freethought Foundation, a non-profit organization.
